Samsung Electronics Singapore has launched The Movingstyle in Singapore, introducing a 27-inch portable touchscreen designed for both entertainment and work.

The Movingstyle will be available for pre-order from 15 February 2026, with general availability from late March. It is priced at S$1,699, with a S$200 discount for pre-orders placed between 15 February and 10 March 2026.

Samsung said the device is aimed at consumers seeking more flexible viewing options at home, as screens increasingly extend beyond traditional living room setups.

Portable Design With Built-In Battery

The Movingstyle features a detachable screen with an integrated kickstand, allowing users to use it like a tablet on flat surfaces. The kickstand also doubles as a handle for easier portability.

Alternatively, users can mount it on a rollable floor stand with concealed wheels, enabling movement between rooms. The screen supports both portrait and landscape orientations.

A built-in rechargeable battery provides up to three hours of usage without a power connection, according to Samsung. The display supports HDR10+ and Dolby Atmos, alongside a 120Hz refresh rate through Motion Xcelerator for smoother gaming performance.

Users can control the device via a remote, voice commands using Bixby, or gesture controls through a compatible Galaxy Watch.

Patrick Khor, Head of TV, AV and Monitor at Samsung Electronics Singapore, said the new device reflects evolving viewing habits.

“A screen in every room becomes an integral part of modern life, as Singaporeans are increasingly looking for flexibility in how and where they view their content,” he said. “The Movingstyle is a game-changer, bringing cinematic visuals and adaptability to places traditional screens can’t reach.”

Smart Features And AI Capabilities

The Movingstyle runs on One UI Tizen and supports individual user profiles with curated content recommendations. It includes access to Samsung TV Plus, which offers free live TV and on-demand content without subscription fees.

Samsung Vision AI powers features such as AI-enhanced picture and sound optimisation. Other AI-driven tools include Now Brief, which provides personalised updates throughout the day, and Generative Wallpaper for customised backgrounds.

The touchscreen also supports Sketch Now, allowing users to draw or write directly on the display for brainstorming and collaboration.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, USB-C and HDMI. Galaxy smartphone users can mirror content or use Storage Share to stream media directly to the screen.

Samsung said user data on The Movingstyle is protected by Samsung Knox, its security platform, and that the device will receive up to seven years of operating system updates.

The launch comes as consumer demand grows for multifunctional screens that blend entertainment, productivity and mobility. Portable displays have gained traction globally, particularly among urban households seeking flexible living arrangements and hybrid work setups.

Singapore’s compact housing landscape may further support interest in space-efficient, mobile devices that can move between rooms.

Pricing And Availability

Pre-orders for The Movingstyle begin on 15 February 2026 via the Samsung Online Store, Samsung Shop App, and Samsung Official Stores on Lazada, Shopee and TikTok.

General availability is expected from late March 2026. The recommended retail price is S$1,699.
