Kobo has launched a year-end sale offering 25 per cent off eBooks site-wide, as the digital reading platform looks to capture post-Christmas demand and holiday reading momentum.
The Kobo year-end eBook sale runs from Dec 25 to Dec 31, with readers able to redeem the discount using the promotional code BYE2025. The offer applies across Kobo’s catalogue, although the company said exclusions may apply, subject to full terms and conditions on its website.
The promotion comes as many readers use the year-end break to catch up on reading, whether at home or while travelling. Kobo operates across multiple markets in Asia, including Singapore, and offers reading access through dedicated eReaders as well as its mobile app.
Singapore best-selling eBooks of 2025
Alongside the discount, Kobo shared a list of Singapore’s best-selling eBooks of 2025, highlighting continued interest in fantasy, mystery and personal development titles.
Leading the list is Strange Houses by Uketsu, described by the platform as a mystery-driven title built around unusual homes and hidden narratives. It is followed by Fourth Wing, part of a fantasy series that has gained global popularity for its mix of dragons, romance and high-stakes storytelling.
Other top-performing titles include Strange Pictures, another interconnected mystery from Uketsu, and Onyx Storm, a continuation of Yarros’ Empyrean series. Rounding out the top five is Atomic Habits, which remains a strong seller as readers plan lifestyle changes ahead of the new year.

Reading across devices
Readers do not need a dedicated device to access its eBooks. Titles purchased during the promotion can be read on the Kobo app available on iOS and Android, with reading progress automatically synced across devices.
This cross-device access has become a key feature for digital reading platforms, particularly in Asia-Pacific markets where mobile-first consumption remains strong.
The year-end eBook sale runs until Dec 31, positioning Kobo for continued engagement into early 2026 as readers build digital libraries for the new year. The company has not announced whether similar promotions will extend into January.
