Plaud has launched the Plaud Note Pro in Singapore, positioning the device as the world’s first AI note-taker designed to enable real-time human-AI alignment during conversations, meetings and phone calls.
The Plaud Note Pro is aimed at professionals who rely on conversations for decision-making and collaboration, transforming spoken discussions into structured, actionable insights. The company said the device reflects its belief that conversations themselves are a form of intelligence, where ideas and intent emerge in real time.
According to Plaud, the key innovation behind the Plaud Note Pro is a new human-machine interaction model that allows users to guide artificial intelligence (AI) systems during live conversations, rather than after recordings are completed.
Real-time human-AI alignment

At the centre of the Plaud Note Pro is its on-device “Press to highlight” feature, which Plaud describes as the first real-time method for humans to signal importance to large language models (LLMs) as conversations unfold.
“We believe conversation is a form of intelligence,” said Nathan Xu, co-founder and chief executive officer of Plaud. “For the first time, Plaud’s unique ‘Press to highlight’ feature enables humans to signal to AI what matters most in real time, achieving true human-AI alignment so insights remain accurate, actionable, and aligned with your intent.”
By allowing users to highlight key moments as they happen, Plaud said the AI can better understand context, prioritise decisions and capture critical ideas without relying solely on post-meeting summaries.
Designed for professional use

The Plaud Note Pro is engineered for professional environments, combining portability with high-quality audio capture. The device features four MEMS microphones with AI beamforming technology, enabling studio-quality recording from up to five metres away.
Housed in a credit-card-sized form factor, the device measures 2.99mm in thickness and weighs 30 grams, making it suitable for discreet use in meetings and calls.
Plaud also highlighted its Smart Dual Mode Recording technology, which can automatically detect whether the user is recording a phone call or an in-person meeting. This is designed to ensure seamless recording across different work scenarios without manual switching.
Battery life has also been optimised, with Plaud stating that the Note Pro supports up to 50 hours of continuous recording on a single charge, allowing for extended use across multi-day meetings or work weeks.
