Samsung Electronics has launched the Galaxy Z TriFold, a tri-folding smartphone featuring a 10-inch display aimed at users seeking productivity and mobile AI features in a portable form factor. The device will arrive in Singapore on 19 December 2025, following an initial rollout in Korea.
Samsung said the Galaxy Z TriFold continues its push in the foldable phone sector, combining a flagship-grade experience with a new multi-folding design that opens twice to reveal its largest smartphone screen yet.
Tri-Fold Display and Refined Hardware

The Galaxy Z TriFold uses an inward-folding, dual-hinge mechanism that protects the main screen and enables the phone to close into a pocketable form. According to Samsung, the device measures 3.9mm at its thinnest point and includes a 200MP camera, a customised Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy, and the company’s largest foldable phone battery at 5,600 mAh.
The phone incorporates Samsung’s latest structural upgrades, including a refined Armor FlexHinge, a reinforced dual-folding display layer, and a frame built with Advanced Armor Aluminum. A ceramic-glass fibre polymer back panel aims to keep the device thin while adding crack resistance.
Every unit undergoes additional checks such as CT and laser scanning to verify manufacturing accuracy, Samsung said.
Ronnie Ng, Vice President and Head of Mobile eXperience at Samsung Electronics Singapore, said the Galaxy Z TriFold “expands the canvas for work, creativity and play” and marks a new chapter in smartphone innovation.
Mobile AI and Productivity on a Larger Screen

Samsung is positioning the Galaxy Z TriFold as its most versatile AI-powered device to date. When fully unfolded, the 10-inch display can function like three 6.5-inch screens, supporting up to three portrait-sized apps side-by-side and enabling more flexible multitasking.
A redesigned taskbar resurfaces recent apps on-demand, while Samsung’s native apps such as My Files and Samsung Health have been optimised for the larger screen layout.
The Galaxy Z TriFold is also the first mobile device to support standalone Samsung DeX, allowing users to set up multiple workspaces directly on the phone. Up to four workspaces, each running five apps, can be accessed without requiring an external monitor. Users who prefer a dual-screen setup can extend their workspace to a second display in Extended Mode, with drag-and-drop app continuity.
Galaxy AI supports creative tools such as Generative Edit, Sketch to Image and Photo Assist, while Browsing Assist can summarise or translate webpages. Google’s Gemini Live is enhanced with multimodal capabilities for contextual assistance, screen sharing and real-time visual queries.
Entertainment and Display Technology
The tri-fold design also targets entertainment use. The Dynamic 2X AMOLED cover screen offers up to 120Hz refresh rate, while brightness reaches 2,600 nits on the cover display and 1,600 nits on the main screen. Samsung’s Vision Booster adjusts colours and contrast under varying light conditions.
Availability in Singapore
The Galaxy Z TriFold will be available in Singapore from 19 December 2025. Customers may register interest on samsung.com from 3–10 December, ahead of purchase reminders from 12 December.
Buyers will receive one year of premium after-sales support, including a priority service queue, a dedicated hotline, unlimited pickup and return, one-time screen replacement, complimentary screen protector replacement and a 50% discount on a single out-of-warranty repair.
