Samsung Launches Galaxy Tab A11+ in Singapore With AI and Long-Term Support

Samsung Electronics has launched the Galaxy Tab A11+ in Singapore, positioning the Android tablet as an affordable option for users seeking long-term software support, AI tools and improved multi-tasking features. The device is available from Thursday (Nov 28).

AI Tools and Better Multi-Tasking

Samsung said the Galaxy Tab A11+ ships with Android 16 and One UI 8, offering updated productivity features through Samsung DeX. The interface supports enhanced multi-window layouts aimed at users who rely on tablets for work, study or browsing on the move.

The tablet includes Google’s Gemini and Circle to Search, bringing AI-driven assistance for information look-ups and context-based search. A 5G model is also available, although Samsung’s claim of “unrivalled mobile data speeds” has not been independently verified.

Performance and Entertainment

The Galaxy Tab A11+ features a powerful processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Storage can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card.

For entertainment, the tablet uses an 11-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and video playback. Samsung says the screen remains visible under direct sunlight. A 7,040mAh battery supports 25W fast charging, while quad speakers with Dolby Atmos and a 3.5mm headphone jack cater to users who prefer wired audio.

Design and Software Longevity

The Galaxy Tab A11+ adopts a design inspired by Samsung’s Galaxy S smartphones, and is backed by Samsung Knox for hardware-level security. The company has committed to seven generations of software updates and seven years of security patches — an unusually long support window for a tablet in this price category. Longer update cycles have increasingly become a differentiator in the Android market, where vendors compete to keep devices secure and relevant for more years.

Local Pricing and Availability

The Galaxy Tab A11+ is available in Singapore in Grey and Silver. Prices start at S$398 for the WiFi variant and S$458 for the 5G model. The tablet can be purchased through Samsung Experience Stores, the Samsung Online Store, the Samsung Shop app, and official stores on Lazada, Shopee and TikTok, as well as major retailers including Best Denki, Challenger, Courts, Gain City and Harvey Norman.

Consumers who buy the tablet between Nov 28, 2025 and Jan 9, 2026 at selected stores will receive launch deals worth S$66, including a free 25W power adapter and an additional year of warranty coverage.
