Xiaomi will open its largest retail outlet in Singapore at Jewel Changi Airport on 11 October 2025, marking a key milestone in the company’s Southeast Asia expansion.

Occupying 203 square metres (over 2,000 square feet), the new Xiaomi Store at Jewel Changi Airport will be the brand’s 10th store in Singapore. It will offer more than 400 different products, ranging from smartphones and smart home devices to lifestyle and ecosystem products.

Expanding Retail Presence

The directly operated store follows Xiaomi’s familiar clean, minimalist design, with a new addition — Singapore’s first Smart Home showcase. The dedicated section will feature the brand’s growing range of home appliances such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines, reflecting Xiaomi’s “Human x Car x Home” ecosystem strategy.

Xiaomi said the new outlet aims to deliver a seamless experience combining sales, delivery, and after-sales support. All store staff will be trained by Xiaomi to offer demonstrations and product consultations.

The opening at Jewel marks a significant step for the company’s retail footprint in Singapore and the region. As of the second quarter of 2025, Xiaomi operates around 200 stores globally (excluding China) and plans to exceed 20 outlets by end-2026.

Smart Home Expansion in Southeast Asia

The launch coincides with Xiaomi’s first global push into smart home appliances. Since March 2025, the company has sold over 10,000 appliances across Southeast Asia, including 8,500 air conditioners.

The Jewel store’s Smart Home zone will highlight these popular models, showcasing advanced energy-saving features and intelligent controls. In August 2025, Xiaomi introduced the Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer 10.5kg in Singapore, which sold out within a month of launch.

The company said it plans to integrate its smart home range with future product categories, including electric vehicles, giving customers an ecosystem experience that links homes, devices, and cars.

Opening Weekend Promotions

To celebrate the opening, Xiaomi will hold exclusive promotions on 11 and 12 October. Shoppers can enjoy discounts and bundled offers on selected products while stocks last.

Xiaomi also plans to host photography exhibitions, workshops, and community activities at its stores to engage local Mi Fans and new customers alike.

The Jewel Changi store strengthens Xiaomi’s regional retail and smart home presence as it eyes continued growth across Southeast Asia. With the upcoming launch of Xiaomi vehicles in international markets, the brand aims to deliver an integrated lifestyle ecosystem across mobile, home, and mobility technologies.
