Multi-currency digital wallet YouTrip has launched Singapore’s first travel persona-themed blind boxes as part of its seventh anniversary celebrations.
The initiative introduces Trippie, a specially designed mascot representing the curiosity and wanderlust of global travellers. From 24 September to 24 October 2025, users can take part in online and offline activities to collect six variations of Trippie, available as blind box collectables and limited-edition merchandise.
Blind boxes and anniversary giveaways

YouTrip said 3,000 exclusive blind boxes will be up for grabs through a spend-and-redeem promotion. Users who spend at least S$300 between 24 September and 24 October can enter the draw via the mobile app’s Perks banner.
A “Trippie Hunt” will also take place from 30 September to 14 October. Ten Trippie figures will be hidden at locations across Singapore, with winners standing to gain up to S$1,500 in YouTrip credits. Clues will be released weekly on the company’s Telegram channel and Instagram page.
Pop-up at Ngee Ann City
The campaign will include a birthday pop-up at Ngee Ann City Basement 2. The event runs on 27 September (1pm–9pm) and 28 September (10am–9pm), featuring giveaways, interactive games, photo opportunities, and complimentary Mister Donut. Users who present their YouTrip card at the pop-up may redeem exclusive merchandise, subject to availability.
Into the “Trippieverse”

YouTrip has created a fictional “Trippieverse”, a whimsical world that houses different Trippie personalities. The six designs include:
- YouTrippie: A loyal fan of exchange rate hunting.
- OniTrippie: Inspired by Japanese culture and cuisine.
- Baby Trippie: Representing new beginnings and first adventures.
- TrippieBro: A surf enthusiast still waiting for the ocean.
- Monsieur Trippé: A pastry connoisseur with Parisian flair.
- MerTrippie: A rare edition embodying Singaporean identity.
Kelvin Lam, Chief Operating Officer of YouTrip, said: “Our journey over the past seven years has been one of constant innovation and growth, guided by our mission to make cross-border payments seamless for everyone. We wanted to create something special that captures the joy and excitement of travel.”
The public can discover their “Trippie persona” via an online quiz launching on 25 September on YouTrip’s Instagram account. Ten participants who share their results on Instagram Stories will win a blind box and S$150 YouTrip credits.
The anniversary campaign highlights YouTrip’s focus on community engagement and its mission to make cross-border payments seamless.
