The Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) 2025 will return from 12 to 14 November at the Singapore EXPO, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders and innovators to examine how artificial intelligence (AI), tokenisation and quantum computing could shape the future of finance.

Organised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), the Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) and Constellar, in collaboration with the Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS), the festival marks its 10th anniversary this year. The 2024 edition drew 65,000 participants from 134 countries.

Pioneers and Changemakers

Speakers at SFF 2025 include technologists whose work has shaped global finance. Among them are Dr Roy Fielding, known for his API design principles that underpin modern FinTech platforms; Nandan Nilekani, who championed digital public infrastructure in India; and Dr Paul Taylor, whose work advanced cloud-native banking.

Other leaders include Eric Jing, Executive Chairman of Ant Group, and Dr Agustín Carstens, General Manager of the Bank for International Settlements, who helped central banks adapt to digital transformation.

Next-Gen Technologies

More than 70 sessions will focus on AI, tokenisation and quantum computing. Topics include the use of AI in risk management and financial inclusion, tokenisation to enhance capital market efficiency, and the implications of quantum computing for cybersecurity.

Speakers include Charles Cascarilla, CEO of blockchain firm Paxos; cybersecurity expert Rafael Echemendia; SEON co-founder Tamas Kadar; Dyna.Ai chairman Tomas Skoumal; Professor Urbasi Sinha, a leading researcher in quantum information; and Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma.

Spotlight on Founders

A special segment will highlight over 20 founders from Singapore and Asia, reflecting on the past decade of FinTech growth in the region and offering insights into future opportunities.

The festival will also feature the Insights Forum™ (10–11 November), an invite-only event at Marina Bay Sands that will convene regulators and policymakers ahead of the main programme.

Other highlights include the Global FinTech Hackcelerator, marking its 10th edition with a focus on AI; the Innovation Lab Crawl, offering a look into Singapore’s FinTech ecosystem; and the inaugural Global Impact Champions Awards, recognising contributions to financial health.

A Decade of FinTech Growth

Kenneth Gay, MAS Chief FinTech Officer, said the festival’s 10th year “mirrors the evolution of FinTech from early digital innovations to today’s AI-driven transformation”.

Sopnendu Mohanty, GFTN’s Group CEO, called for “urgent action to address persistent gaps in global finance” and said the festival would align innovation, regulation and capital to build resilient financial systems.

Constellar Group CEO Chua Wee Phong added that the milestone reflected “the strength of a whole ecosystem of regulators, start-ups, corporates, investors, academia, and technology pioneers”.

Registration for SFF 2025 is now open. Complimentary tickets are available for government agencies, central banks, academics, students, non-profits and foundations.
