Singapore-based startup ConnectingDNA has launched the beta version of its platform, introducing what it says is the world’s first AI-powered DNA wellness marketplace. The service allows users to upload DNA reports securely, receive personalised health insights, and connect with wellness providers ranging from nutritionists to fitness coaches.
Personalised wellness through AI and DNA

The platform combines artificial intelligence (AI) with DNA analysis to generate tailored recommendations in areas such as nutrition, supplements and lifestyle. Users can enter queries in natural language, such as “foods to improve focus” or “solutions for fatigue”, which the system interprets to provide DNA-based suggestions.
“The wellness industry has long been dominated by trial and error. ConnectingDNA eliminates the guesswork by translating DNA into science-backed insights, making it easier and safer to choose what truly works,” said Cedric Lee, Chief Executive Officer of ConnectingDNA.
Wellness providers can also join as vendors, using the company’s tools to deliver DNA-personalised programmes at scale.
Tapping Asia’s wellness market
The global wellness industry is projected to reach US$7.4 trillion (S$9.5 trillion) by 2025, according to the Global Wellness Institute. DNA testing has seen rising adoption in Asia, but most services stop short of offering personalised follow-up solutions. ConnectingDNA aims to address this gap with its proprietary AI search engine, developed with support from Microsoft and Meta.
Data protection and trust
The company said it is prioritising data privacy, with cybersecurity measures in place and plans to obtain ISO 27001 certification. One of its investors also provides cybersecurity services to governments.
Co-founder Ee Ting Choo shared that her personal experience with chronic fatigue, managed through DNA-guided dietary changes, inspired the platform’s mission. “By making small but specific adjustments to my diet, I regained my energy and saw my blood markers improve dramatically. That experience showed me the power of translating genetics into everyday action,” she said.
ConnectingDNA has opened early access to users in Singapore and beyond. The company is also inviting wellness professionals to register as vendors on the platform.
