StarHub has announced a partnership with US-based cybersecurity company Vectra AI to deliver advanced threat detection and response services to enterprises in Singapore.

The collaboration will see StarHub integrate the Vectra AI Platform into its cybersecurity portfolio, offering businesses continuous monitoring, faster incident detection and automated response capabilities.

Expanding cyber defence tools

StarHub said the move reflects its commitment to strengthening enterprise defences as cyberattacks grow more sophisticated. The company’s hybrid IT infrastructure and expertise will be combined with Vectra AI’s network detection and response (NDR) technology, which was recognised as a leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for the category.

“Cyberthreats are evolving rapidly, targeting both infrastructure and the people behind it,” StarHub said in its announcement. “This partnership allows enterprises to safeguard their digital systems and ensure a secure environment for employees.”

Cyberattacks in Asia have surged in recent years, with ransomware and supply chain breaches among the fastest-rising threats, according to research by Interpol and Singapore’s Cyber Security Agency. Businesses in Singapore, particularly those in financial services, healthcare and government-linked sectors, are under increasing pressure to invest in stronger digital defences.

The StarHub–Vectra collaboration aligns with broader industry efforts to adopt AI-powered security tools, which can detect suspicious behaviour across networks more effectively than traditional systems. Vectra AI’s technology uses machine learning to identify patterns that signal potential attacks before they cause disruption.

The joint solution is available immediately through StarHub’s cybersecurity services. Enterprises can request a consultation or schedule a demonstration via StarHub’s website.
