Global HR and payroll platform Deel has rolled out more than 500 new features and improvements in its latest product showcase, as it doubles down on AI to simplify complex global workforce operations for over 35,000 businesses worldwide.
Dubbed The Deel Drop: Summer Edition, the release marks one of the company’s most significant upgrades to date, introducing AI-driven tools that aim to cut down operational friction across onboarding, payroll, compliance, and workforce planning.
Among the highlights is Anytime Pay, touted as the world’s first global, on-demand pay solution for employees hired through Deel’s Employer of Record (EOR) model. Eligible employees can now access a portion of their earned wages instantly—with no approval process, delays or fees.
Also new are Expense Cards—available virtually and physically in over 130 countries—that allow EOR employees controlled access to company funds, and a redesigned payroll experience that includes self-service calendar controls for administrators and more transparent payslips for employees.
“Deel is evolving into the infrastructure layer for global workforce operations,” said Alex Bouaziz, Co-Founder and CEO of Deel. “This latest product drop was all about listening to customers and removing friction, whether you’re planning a hire in Brazil, running compensation reviews in Berlin, or onboarding a contractor in Nairobi.”
The company’s new AI-powered tools promise faster and smarter decision-making. A Visa Eligibility Tool helps employers instantly assess work permit options in over 50 countries, while Global Hiring Insights offers ranked country recommendations based on timezone alignment, cost and compliance complexity.
For longer-term planning, Deel has introduced Scenario Planning and Salary Planning tools to support proactive workforce strategies, allowing teams to model hiring outcomes or run compliant pay reviews without relying on spreadsheets.
Other notable additions include an embedded Knowledge Hub covering employment rules in 150+ countries, over 200 contextual AI Walkthroughs, and a unified Support Inbox to manage queries across HR, Finance and employees in one place.
The updates come on the heels of Deel achieving a US$1 billion annual revenue run rate in Q1 2025. The company now processes over US$11 billion in annual payroll, as it continues its bid to become the go-to platform for global hiring and workforce management.
The Summer Edition follows April’s Big Deel launch and reflects the company’s drive to become the “system of record” for globally distributed teams.
