Singapore’s Trust Bank has announced a major refresh of its Trust+ programme, offering customers an elevated suite of benefits including a complimentary metal card, enhanced deposit interest rates and 1-for-1 partner deals – marking a bold step in the digital bank’s efforts to stand out in a competitive market.
Launched last year as Singapore’s first fully digital “elevated banking” experience, Trust+ has helped Trust Bank double its customer deposit balances to S$3.8 billion in 2024. Now, the bank is expanding the programme with a suite of new features aimed at rewarding affluent customers and simplifying access to premium banking privileges.
At the heart of the refresh is a complimentary metal card – an upgrade from the existing Link card—that doubles as a credit or debit card, offering accelerated Linkpoints rewards and fee-free foreign exchange transactions. Customers who qualify for Trust+ can request the metal card at no additional cost, with no annual or subscription fees.
Trust+ members will also enjoy more lifestyle perks, including 1-for-1 offers at popular merchants such as Golden Village Gold Class, Paradise Group, Mandai Wildlife Reserve, Edge and Starbucks. According to Trust Bank, these curated deals can offer over S$200 in monthly savings. A complimentary membership to the Just Wine Club further sweetens the package, with 8% discounts on wine purchases across FairPrice outlets and invitations to exclusive wine events.
On the financial front, the programme has expanded its interest-bearing tier. Customers with a minimum daily balance of S$100,000 in their Trust savings account will now earn a higher interest rate on deposits up to S$1.2 million – up from the previous S$800,000 cap. This positions Trust+ as one of the more competitive options among local banks for high-value depositors.
In a further move to simplify access, balances held in TrustInvest accounts will now count towards the S$100,000 qualifying threshold. The qualification remains automatic, with no forms or manual applications required. Once eligible, customers are upgraded to Trust+ from the first day of the following month.
