Global IT infrastructure services provider Kyndryl has appointed Guat Ling Ang as Managing Director of its Singapore business, as the company sharpens its focus on digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) adoption in the region.
Ang will steer the strategic direction of Kyndryl’s operations in Singapore – a key hub for the firm’s ASEAN footprint – with a mandate to scale mission-critical technology services across both public and private sectors.
With more than two decades of experience in application and infrastructure services, Ang brings a seasoned hand to the role, having held leadership positions at NEC Asia Pacific, the Government Technology Agency of Singapore, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and most recently, Cognizant Technology Solutions.
“Guat Ling brings deep expertise and a proven ability to scale complex services and drive meaningful outcomes for both public and private sector customers,” said Andrew Lim, Managing Director for ASEAN and Korea at Kyndryl. “Her leadership in transforming business models and delivering sustained growth makes her the ideal choice to lead Kyndryl’s Singapore business – one of our key markets – into its next phase of growth.”
In her new role, Ang is expected to drive the adoption of emerging technologies such as AI, while guiding enterprises through IT modernisation efforts – a central part of Kyndryl’s growth strategy in the region.
“I’m honoured to lead Kyndryl’s Singapore business at such a pivotal time,” said Ang. “I look forward to working with our talented Singapore teams to deepen partnerships, deliver mission-critical services, and support our customers’ modernisation goals across sectors.”
