Motorola Named Official Smartphone Partner for FIFA Club World Cup 2025

Motorola, under parent company Lenovo, has been named the Official Smartphone Partner for the inaugural 32-team FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ – a significant tech partnership aimed at putting the brand front and centre at one of the biggest events in global club football.

Set to kick off in the United States on 14 June 2025, the expanded tournament marks a new chapter for FIFA, bringing together top clubs from all six continental confederations for a month-long showdown of 63 matches.

Motorola and Lenovo will supply critical technology infrastructure throughout the tournament, including AI-powered PCs, tablets, workstations, and Motorola smartphones. These will support FIFA’s operations, content creation, collaboration tools, and pitch-side engagement, ensuring seamless execution on and off the field.

“Motorola is proud to support this new global club football landmark with smarter technology,” said Sergio Buniac, President of Motorola. “The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 represents an incredible opportunity to showcase not only the world’s best football clubs, but also the transformative potential of innovation.”

The partnership includes marketing visibility at all match venues, where Lenovo and Motorola branding will appear on LED boards and stadium screens. In a nod to the brand’s innovation strategy, exclusive content will be captured using the upcoming Motorola razr family 2025 smartphones during matches.

FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström welcomed the partnership, saying, “We’re delighted to have Motorola and Lenovo joining us for this groundbreaking tournament. Their world-class technology and global perspective will help elevate the experience for fans, teams and other stakeholders.”

Lenovo’s involvement continues its track record of powering global sports with its tech solutions. The company said the move aligns with its mission to make smarter technology accessible to all, while reinforcing its brand presence on a global scale.

As the football world converges for the birth of a new global tradition, fans still have a chance to be part of history. Tickets are available at FIFA.com/tickets.
