Digital telco Circles.Life is making a bold play in the AI space, becoming the first in Singapore to integrate premium AI tools, including OpenAI’s latest GPT-4.1 model, directly into its mobile plans at no extra cost.

From today, all Circles.Life mobile subscribers—excluding those on data-only plans—will gain unlimited access to CirclesAI, a suite of generative AI tools available through the Circles.Life app. The move places advanced AI capabilities, typically behind paywalls, into the hands of everyday mobile users, potentially reshaping how subscribers interact with their telco services.

CirclesAI, powered by OpenAI’s GPT-4.1 and the newly announced GPT-4o, allows users to do everything from summarising documents to analysing personal budgets and creating content. Notably, GPT-4.1 is not yet available on OpenAI’s own ChatGPT app, making Circles.Life the exclusive point of access in Singapore for now.

The telco has also rolled out Carly, a generative AI-powered support agent built with Zendesk and OpenAI, offering users instant in-app assistance.

The initiative aligns with Singapore’s Smart Nation vision, which encourages widespread adoption of digital technologies and AI. By offering this service for free, Circles.Life is removing a significant barrier to entry for many users who might otherwise be deterred by premium subscription fees for advanced AI tools.

While CirclesAI is currently accessible only via the Circles.Life app, the telco says it plans to expand its AI offerings. Future updates may include personalised AI perks and more intelligent digital services tailored to user behaviour.

In addition to AI tools, subscribers will continue to receive up to $200 worth of lifestyle perks, including discounts with Shopee, Golden Village, and TADA, underscoring the company’s effort to deliver value beyond connectivity.
