Samsung has lifted the curtain on the Galaxy S25 Edge, a sleek and surprisingly powerful new entrant to its flagship Galaxy S Series. At just 5.8mm thin and weighing 163 grams, the titanium-bodied device sets a new benchmark for slim smartphones without compromising on high-end features.
Positioned as a trend-defining option for users who value both form and function, the Galaxy S25 Edge arrives with the latest mobile AI tools, pro-grade photography features, and a standout design that challenges industry norms.
“The Galaxy S25 Edge redefines what a premium smartphone can be—merging cutting-edge engineering, pro-grade camera technology, and intelligent mobile AI into an ultra-slim design,” said Ronnie Ng, Head of Mobile eXperience, Samsung Electronics Singapore.
Engineering Feat: Strength in a Slim Frame

The Galaxy S25 Edge stands out with its titanium frame and ultra-slim profile, aimed at users seeking a more compact alternative to traditional flagship smartphones. Reinforced with Corning® Gorilla® Glass Ceramic 2 on the front, the device promises both durability and clarity.

Despite its svelte design, the device houses a 200MP wide camera lens designed for sharper, brighter images, particularly in low-light conditions — boasting over 40% improved brightness, according to Samsung. The 12MP ultra-wide lens adds autofocus for improved macro shots, while Galaxy AI tools such as Audio Eraser and Drawing Assist enhance post-capture editing.
The ProVisual Engine, inherited from the Galaxy S25, brings refined image rendering with enhanced skin tones and textural details in photos, making it a viable tool for serious content creators.
Premium Performance with Galaxy AI
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite for Galaxy processor, the S25 Edge promises flagship-level performance, complete with on-device AI processing. Samsung has reconfigured the internal vapor chamber to ensure efficient cooling, addressing a common challenge in ultra-thin smartphones.
Samsung also brings its Galaxy AI suite to the S25 Edge, including context-aware tools like Now Brief and Now Bar, now integrated with third-party apps for enhanced daily productivity. Deep Google integration enables Gemini Live features — including real-time camera and screen sharing — further elevating the AI experience.
Designed for Daily Life, Built for the Future
Samsung reiterates its focus on privacy, assuring users that Galaxy AI functions are powered by on-device processing, safeguarded by Samsung Knox Vault.
The Galaxy S25 Edge will be available for pre-order from 13 May 2025 in three colours: Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack and Titanium Icyblue.
