OPPO Unveils Vision for Agentic AI at Google Cloud Next 2025, Aiming to Redefine Mobile Experiences

Chinese smartphone maker OPPO has laid out an ambitious roadmap to lead the next wave of mobile AI evolution, spotlighting its vision for “Agentic AI” during Google Cloud Next 2025. The company aims to redefine user interaction through smarter, more autonomous AI systems built on robust privacy safeguards and personalised data models.

“OPPO’s focus has always been on the user, and our goal is very clear: to lead innovation in AI experience and provide the best experience,” said Jason Liao, President of the OPPO Research Institute. “We are continuously enhancing AI experiences through strategic collaborations with partners like Google Cloud, aiming to deliver Agentic AI capabilities to OPPO users.”

Central to its showcase was AI Search, a system-level tool co-developed with Google Cloud that enables users to perform complex, natural language searches across multimodal documents—essentially mimicking human-like search behaviour in real-time.

Beyond search, OPPO also highlighted progress in AI Productivity, AI Creativity, and AI Imaging, areas it believes will be fundamental to the next phase of user-centric innovation.

The company is now developing a user knowledge system, designed to consolidate fragmented data across devices into a single intelligent repository. This system will dynamically learn from user behaviour, data, and interests to offer highly personalised AI experiences—a foundational step towards what OPPO envisions as AI-driven operating systems.

Earlier this year, OPPO also introduced its Private Computing Cloud (PCC), a secure AI data processing platform built using Google Cloud’s Confidential Computing. With end-to-end encryption and isolated data environments, PCC aims to bolster user trust by keeping AI interactions both private and protected.

Through a blend of proprietary development and strategic partnerships, OPPO is targeting mass adoption of its AI features, with a goal to reach nearly 100 million users globally by the end of 2025.

The company’s long-term bet on Agentic AI underlines its belief that intelligent systems capable of autonomous action and adaptation will be at the core of the next generation of mobile innovation.
