Sony has unveiled its latest addition to the audio lineup – the WF-C710N Truly Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds – offering users an affordable blend of powerful sound, long battery life and smart features in a sleek, pocket-friendly design.
The Japanese tech giant also revealed new colour options for two of its best-selling headphones – the WH-CH720N and WH-CH520 – aimed at younger listeners drawn to pastel tones.
Set to hit shelves in Singapore this April, the WF-C710N earbuds come with improved noise-cancelling technology, adaptive sound control and up to 30 hours of battery life with the charging case. At S$169 during its promotional launch (S$199 thereafter), Sony is pitching the device as a value-for-money option without compromising on core performance.
Noise cancelling made smarter
The WF-C710N’s biggest upgrade comes in its noise cancelling capabilities. Using Sony’s Dual Noise Sensor technology and dual microphones, the earbuds actively reduce surrounding noise for more immersive listening. At the same time, Ambient Sound mode allows users to stay aware of their environment when needed, while an adaptive system auto-adjusts based on activity or location — whether users are at home, in transit, or working out.
Customisation is a big theme, with the Sony | Headphones Connect app offering granular control over ambient sound levels and audio settings, including a 20-level ambient slider and an EQ Custom feature.
Designed for life on the go

Engineered for everyday convenience, the WF-C710N boasts fast-charging capabilities that give an hour of playback from just five minutes of charge. Sony says users can expect clearer calls too, thanks to a machine-learning based voice pickup system trained on over 500 million samples. This, combined with Precise Voice Pickup Technology, ensures clearer conversations even in noisy surroundings.
With a water resistance rating of IPX4 and support for multi-point Bluetooth connection, the earbuds are suited for both casual and active use.
Four colourways and sustainable packaging
The WF-C710N arrives in four colour options – Glass Blue, Pink, White, and Black – with the new crystal-clear Glass Blue turning heads as a standout style. A redesigned cylindrical charging case makes it easier to pocket or toss in a bag.
Sony has also leaned into sustainability, with the WF-C710N’s packaging made entirely without plastic, aligning with the company’s broader push towards reducing environmental impact.
Fresh pastel colours for WH-CH series
In tandem with the new earbuds, Sony is refreshing its WH-CH720N and WH-CH520 headphone lines with pastel colours to tap into Gen Z preferences. Both models will now be available in a new soft pink, while the WH-CH520 also adds a muted yellow option.
These refreshed colourways will be available in Singapore from April 2025.
