Seagate Technology has launched its latest Ultra-Compact SSD in Singapore, offering a high-speed and durable storage solution for users on the go. The new solid-state drive (SSD) delivers transfer speeds of up to 1,000MB/s and comes in 1TB and 2TB capacities.

Designed for portability, the Ultra-Compact SSD is no larger than a thumb drive and can be conveniently attached to a keyring. Despite its small form factor, it is built to endure tough conditions with 3-metre drop resistance, IP54-rated dust and water resistance, and a removable rubber sleeve for added protection.

The device also embraces sustainability, incorporating at least 35% recycled materials by weight. With a direct USB-C connection, it supports plug-and-play functionality across multiple devices, including Windows, Mac, Android, iPhones, tablets, and gaming consoles.

Seagate’s Ultra-Compact SSD includes additional features such as the Seagate Toolkit for easy file backups, a six-month complimentary trial of Dropbox Backup, and access to Mylio Photos+ for organising and enhancing photos and videos. It also comes with a three-year limited warranty and three years of Seagate Rescue Data Recovery Services.

The Seagate Ultra-Compact SSD is available for purchase through Seagate’s official stores on Lazada and Shopee, priced at S$169 for the 1TB version and S$279 for the 2TB model, inclusive of GST.
