Singapore’s leading payment services group, Network for Electronic Transfers (NETS), has announced a new addition to its Board of Directors. Effective Monday, 23 December 2024, Mr Lawrence Goh, Head of Group Technology and Operations (GTO) at UOB, will step into his role, succeeding Mr Eddie Khoo.
Mr Lawrence Goh brings over 30 years of international experience in technology leadership to NETS. At UOB, Mr Goh has held pivotal roles, including Head of Group Infrastructure Platform Services and Chief Operating Officer for GTO. His influence in spearheading UOB’s digital transformation has enhanced service delivery, fostered customer-centric innovations, and driven business success.
Currently leading a team of over 7,000 regional staff, Mr Goh is also the Technology and Operations Workgroup co-chair for the MAS-ABS Cross Border Governance Steering Committee and a member of the ABS Digitalisation Standing Committee.
NETS Chairman, Mr Jeremy Soo, expressed his enthusiasm for the new appointment: “We are pleased to welcome Lawrence to the board.
