Acer Unveils AI-Powered Swift Laptops with Intel Core Ultra Processors, Enhancing Productivity and Security

Acer has introduced its latest Swift 14 AI (SF14-51) and Swift 16 AI (SF16-51) laptops, powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra processors, marking a significant leap in AI-driven personal computing. The new models are among the first to feature Intel’s cutting-edge Series 2 processors, designed to deliver enhanced AI experiences and exceptional efficiency, positioning Acer at the forefront of next-generation computing.

The Swift 14 AI and Swift 16 AI leverage Intel® Core™ Ultra processors with built-in Intel® Arc™ graphics and a neural processing unit (NPU), offering up to 47 trillion operations per second (TOPS) for seamless AI performance. Combined with other AI processing units, the total AI power reaches up to 115 TOPS. This breakthrough allows the devices to deliver advanced AI features, such as Microsoft Copilot+, while maintaining impressive power efficiency. Users can expect up to 29 hours of video playback and 21 hours of mixed use, making these laptops suitable for both productivity and entertainment on the go.

Enhanced Productivity and Creative Tools with AI

Acer’s Swift laptops are built to enhance user productivity out of the box. The new devices integrate Microsoft Copilot, which streamlines tasks through features like intelligent summaries and Recall, which retrieves contextual information from past activities. Users can also take advantage of AI-powered upgrades in Microsoft Paint, including the ability to generate artwork with DALL-E 3 and edit photos with tools like Generative Fill, Erase, and Background Removal.

Acer’s own AI features add further utility. The AcerSense key provides access to real-time system insights and Acer Assist, a privacy-centric offline assistant that can summarize documents without uploading them to the cloud. Additionally, Acer’s Multi-Screen Assist enables seamless workflow transitions by automatically teleporting the cursor and switching windows between the laptop and external monitors based on user gaze.

Optimized for Meetings with AI-Powered Features

For users frequently involved in virtual meetings, Acer has enhanced its Swift laptops with PurifiedView 2.0 and PurifiedVoice 2.0, offering AI-driven video and audio improvements. These include Super Sharp Mode for better resolution, Portrait Refinement for smoothened skin, and Dynamic Lighting to enhance video quality in poor lighting conditions. The triple microphone array and 1440p QHD IR webcam, equipped with Microsoft Studio Effects like background blur and eye contact correction, help users present themselves more professionally during calls.

With the increasing reliance on AI, Acer has prioritized security in its new Swift models. The Intel® Partner Security Engine and Microsoft Pluton security processor work in tandem to safeguard sensitive data and ensure high-performance AI workloads. The laptops also feature biometric solutions, including fingerprint readers and facial recognition, to enhance data protection. Acer’s User Sensing technology uses proximity detection to lock the screen when the user moves away and wakes it upon return.

Premium Design with a Focus on Sustainability

The Swift 14 AI and Swift 16 AI continue Acer’s commitment to both design excellence and sustainability. These ultra-sleek models feature aluminum covers with dynamic, iridescent accents, while an illuminated touchpad signals AI activity. The OLED displays deliver stunning color accuracy and smooth playback, with up to 120Hz refresh rates.

In line with Acer’s Earthion initiative, the new Swift laptops use post-consumer recycled plastics, are shipped in 100% recycled packaging, and are EPEAT Gold-registered, demonstrating the company’s ongoing efforts to promote environmentally responsible practices.

Availability and Pricing

The Acer Swift 14 AI is now available in Singapore, starting at $1,499, and can be found at major retailers including Best Denki, Challenger, and Courts. The Swift 16 AI will arrive in December, starting at $1,649.
