M1 Limited (M1) has joined forces with Chubb Insurance Singapore Limited (Chubb) to provide complimentary overseas accident protection. This new offer is available to all new subscribers of M1’s Daily and Data Passport roaming plans, covering over 70 destinations worldwide.

M1’s roaming plans, known for their flexibility and affordability, have been further sweetened with the addition of a 6-month Overseas Accident Protection insurance at no extra cost. This move is aimed at offering peace of mind to travelers, ensuring they remain protected while exploring the globe.

The eligibility for this complimentary insurance is straightforward. New users who opt for either the M1 Daily Passport, which offers 3GB of roaming data per day for as low as $2.95, or the Data Passport, available at $15 per destination, can enroll for this coverage. The benefits of this protection include up to $5,000 in the event of accidental death or permanent disablement, up to $100 reimbursement for accidental medical expenses, and 24-hour protection worldwide, with the exclusion of sanctioned countries.To qualify for this offer, customers must be Singapore Residents aged between 18 and 65 years old.

M1 has streamlined the enrollment process for this coverage, requiring users to simply activate their chosen roaming plan via the My M1+ app, enable data roaming upon arrival at their destination, and opt-in for the overseas accident protection by completing the sign-up process with Chubb.
