Samsung Electronics Singapore is set to launch its latest flagship UHS-I memory card, the ‘PRO Ultimate’ in microSD form, on September 18, 2023. This memory card aims to boost the efficiency of professional photographers and content creators in their creative workflows.

Best-in-Class Read and Write Speeds with UHS-I Interface:
The PRO Ultimate stands out with its industry-leading read speeds of up to 200MB/s and write speeds of up to 130MB/s, achievable through the UHS-I interface. These speeds support the smooth transfer of heavyweight files, including 4K UHD and Full HD videos.
The microSD card also features Application Performance Class 2 (A2), enabling high-performance random read and write operations and multi-tasking capabilities.
Increased Reliability and Durability
The PRO Ultimate ensures reliable performance with an enhanced Error Correction Code (ECC) engine and multi-proof protection features. It features an upgraded ECC’s Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) code, offering increased durability for a higher volume of write-and-erase cycles.
This memory card is built to endure challenging conditions, boasting water protection for up to 72 hours in two meters of depth, drop-proof design from heights of up to five meters, wear-out protection for up to 10,000 swipes, X-ray and magnetic protection, and the ability to operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -25°C to 85°C.
Maximised Power Efficiency with 28nm Controller:
A new 28-nanometer (nm) controller improves power efficiency by 37% compared to previous Samsung models, resulting in extended device usage without frequent recharging.
