TLDR: Alfa Romeo is reintroducing the iconic 33 Stradale, a limited-edition custom-built sports car that combines heritage with cutting-edge design. With only 33 units available, the vehicle showcases Italian artistry and driving excellence. CEO Jean-Philippe Imparato expresses pride in this achievement and hints at more custom-built cars in the future.

Alfa Romeo has unveiled the rebirth of the “fuoriserie” (custom-built) 33 Stradale, a testament to the brand’s style and driving prowess. This exclusive two-seater coupé pays homage to the 1967 33 Stradale, blending the beauty of the past with future technology.

Artisan Craftsmanship

The new 33 Stradale emerges from Alfa Romeo’s “Bottega,” a creative hub where designers, engineers, and historians collaborate with buyers to craft each car, mirroring the artisan boutiques of Italy’s past.

“A Clear Ambition”

Jean-Philippe Imparato, CEO of Alfa Romeo, emphasized the brand’s commitment to its history and future. He stated, “This is the brand’s first fuoriserie car since 1969, and I promise it won’t be the last.”

Necessary Beauty

Designed by Alfa Romeo Centro Stile, the 33 Stradale takes inspiration from its 1967 predecessor while incorporating contemporary design elements. Its exterior boasts perfect proportions and features, including the iconic shield and elliptical-base lighting.

Aerodynamic Efficiency

The car’s aerodynamic design achieves a Cx of 0.375 at zero Cz without active systems, ensuring a smooth and efficient ride.

Two Trim Levels

Available in Tributo and Alfa Corse trim levels, the interior focuses on minimalistic design for an immersive driving experience. The 3D telescope display engages the driver, while the cockpit-style instrument panel and premium materials maintain the aesthetic and technical heritage.

Track-Worthy, Road-Ready

The Alfa Romeo team, with input from F1 driver Valtteri Bottas, aims to provide a track car’s performance for everyday road use. The car can be equipped with a V-6 twin-turbo engine, delivering over 620 horsepower and offering impressive speed and acceleration.

Advanced Features

The 33 Stradale includes innovative features like a front axle lift system, a carbon-fiber monocoque, and a drive mode selector. It offers a comfortable Strada mode for everyday driving and a thrilling Pista mode for track enthusiasts.

Braking Excellence

Equipped with Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, the 33 Stradale ensures high-performance stopping power, even under extreme conditions. These brakes guarantee reactive braking with minimal fading at high temperatures.
