Singapore’s popular multi-currency e-wallet, YouTrip, is celebrating its 5th anniversary by launching Apple Pay and a ‘Simply YouTrip It’ campaign. Users can now use their YouTrip card for in-store, online, and public transport payments. This is especially helpful for travelers as it makes paying for expenses abroad easier. With Apple Pay, YouTrip cardholders can link their cards to iOS devices for faster, more secure transactions.

To show appreciation for users, YouTrip has initiated the ‘Simply YouTrip It’ campaign from August 15 to September 15, 2023. Users who pay for public transport using their YouTrip card via Apple Pay can earn up to 10% cashback. For non-iOS users, there’s a 5% cashback offer for contactless public transport payments. Google Pay will also be introduced later.

“YouTrip is increasingly integrated into our users’ lives. From being a travel wallet five years ago, to becoming the daily go-to option for e-commerce and foreign currency transactions, YouTrip prevails as the choice of payment as we offer the best FX rates without hidden costs. We are excited to offer users the convenience of Apple Pay. As the leading pioneer in digital payment solutions in Asia, YouTrip continues to prioritise user experience and we eagerly look forward to more memories and milestones with our users.”

Caecilia Chu, CEO and Co-Founder of YouTrip

YouTrip has also held social media contests, awarding prizes like S$600 and AirPods Pro. They announced a grand winner who won Singapore Airlines flight tickets and S$5,000 YouTrip credits. With a commitment to convenient and modern payments, YouTrip has changed foreign currency travel payments since 2018 by offering favorable rates with 0% fees. The integration of Apple Pay follows the launch of YouTrip 2.0, enhancing the app interface and card design. As a preferred choice in Singapore, YouTrip enables cashless and worry-free travel, constantly introducing features that cater to users’ needs.
