Leica Camera AG has introduced a new silver variant of its popular Leica SL2 camera. The company has responded to the desires of its customers, delivering a design that pays homage to the classic silver Leica M and Leica R camera models.
Known for its commitment to minimalist design that emphasizes functionality, Leica has once again demonstrated its dedication to meeting the needs of its loyal user base. The silver Leica SL2 features a silver anodized top plate and base plate, exuding elegance and style. Its sleek black leather covering, identical to the Leica M11, adds a touch of sophistication and completes the classic aesthetic. Paired with the M-Adapter L and the compact M lenses, the silver Leica SL2 offers a visually captivating experience.

The technical specifications of the silver Leica SL2 mirror those of the existing black model. Boasting a powerful 47 MP CMOS sensor, the camera ensures exceptional image quality for both photographs and videos. Its remarkable dynamic range and sensitivity range of up to ISO 50,000 enable stunning results in various lighting conditions. With the ability to be triggered remotely via the Leica FOTOS app and seamless transfer via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, the SL2 provides a user-friendly and convenient experience. It also integrates smoothly into professional setups, thanks to numerous additional functions.
Starting from June 15th, 2023, the silver Leica SL2 will be available for purchase at a retail price of $10,690.00. Customers can find it at official Leica Singapore Stores, the Leica Online Store, and authorized dealers.
In addition to the new camera variant, Leica is offering two attractive kits to complement the silver design. The first option combines the Leica SL2 in silver with the versatile Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-70 f/2.8 ASPH. lens, providing customers with an enticing bundle for $13,700.00. The second kit pairs the Leica SL2 in silver with the classic Noctilux-M 50 f/1.2 ASPH. lens, including the M-Adapter L, allowing photographers and videographers to leverage the unmistakable look of all M-Lenses ever produced with SL-Cameras. This kit is priced at $20,900.00.
