Leading e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform, DocuSign, has announced the release of new features designed to make agreement workflows more intelligent, seamless, and trusted. The enhancements are part of DocuSign’s ongoing efforts to digitize agreement processes and provide customers with automated, intuitive, and personalized experiences.
One of the key features introduced in the 2023 Release 1 is Web Forms, an interactive form-filling experience that allows organizations to capture data and dynamically populate agreements for signature. Using conditional logic functionality, users can display only relevant content to signers based on responses provided, and customize agreements with pre-populated data. Web Forms is a no-code solution that can be implemented quickly and empowers teams to build and maintain their own forms without IT resources.
Another significant addition is Document Generation for eSignature, which enables senders to generate personalized agreements directly within eSignature. All information is dynamically inserted to ensure documents are well-formatted and professional-looking. By using conditional logic to hide or display content per business rules, users can reduce the number of templates needed and save time in template creation and management.
In the CLM space, DocuSign has introduced several enhancements to accelerate internal workflows. The Essentials Conditional Logic feature allows users to customize agreement templates in CLM Essentials with just a few clicks, using conditional rules to control which parts of an agreement are hidden, shown, or filled in based on custom criteria. This leads to less time spent customizing individual agreements, more template flexibility, and consistent compliance across agreements.
DocuSign has also relaunched the Edit application for CLM to help teams save time and maintain visibility throughout the contract review process. The enhancement syncs agreement changes in users’ preferred document editing application to CLM and provides a modern authentication experience for CLM and Salesforce users, simplifying maintenance with seamless updates.
According to DocuSign, the goal of these features is to make it easier for businesses of all sizes to unlock the power of data in their agreements and provide exceptional digital experiences for customers and employees alike. The company believes that the new enhancements will save time, delight customers, and help organizations grow their businesses.
“We’re excited to be on this journey with you to reimagine your agreement workflows to be smarter, easier, and more trusted for every aspect of your organization – no matter how big or small,” said the DocuSign team in a press release.
The new features are available starting from April 2023 for Enterprise Pro and Business Pro users.
