LG Smart TV owners worldwide can now access MasterClass, the streaming platform that offers courses from some of the world’s most respected instructors across a variety of subjects. With the MasterClass app now available in LG’s Content Store on LG Smart TVs running webOS 4.0 (2018 TVs) up to the newly launched 2023 TVs, users can easily access the platform via voice command and enjoy the cinematic visuals and close-up demonstrations that make them feel as if they’re one-on-one with their instructors.

The classes available cover a wide range of topics, including Arts & Entertainment, Business, Design & Style, Sports & Gaming, and Writing. Over 180 instructors offer classes, including Roy Choi, the “godfather” of food trucks, Elaine Welteroth, former editor-in-chief of Teen Vogue, Chris Voss, former lead FBI hostage negotiator, and Esther Perel, renowned psychotherapist.

MasterClass subscribers can learn at their own pace, with each class featuring about 20 video lessons that last around 10 minutes per lesson. Sessions by MasterClass offers a more structured curriculum where members can learn by doing, with step-by-step guidance from world-class instructors and an active community of peers.

LG’s partnership with MasterClass is part of its commitment to offer more versatile home entertainment experiences that appeal to consumers’ unique preferences, needs, and interests, with new educational services to be launched later this year.
