Basis Bay CEO Stresses Importance of ASEAN’s Digital Revolution in Relationships with Western Australia Business Community

SolarWinds, a leading provider of observability and IT management software, has announced the launch of its first IT service management (ITSM) data center in Australia for SolarWinds Service Desk customers. The Sydney-based data center will provide enhanced performance and speed for customers and ensure compliance with data sovereignty requirements.

This new ITSM data center will expand SolarWinds’ software as a service (SaaS) offerings to businesses throughout the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region, allowing for increased customer performance and lower latency for users. The investment in the new data center is part of the company’s regional growth in APJ alongside the Asia-Pacific data center for SolarWinds Observability that was announced earlier.

According to Sai Krishna, SolarWinds group vice president of engineering, “The new Sydney ITSM data center provides a solution to the demand we’ve been seeing from customers in this space. A growing number of companies in the region seek to comply with data residency while delivering a great user experience.”

SolarWinds’ ongoing investments in the region, including this new local data center, aim to help the company’s customers in Australia accelerate and derive greater value in their digital transformation initiatives. The launch of the data center reinforces the company’s commitment to the APJ region and offers Australian organizations greater control over their data.

SolarWinds will be presenting at the upcoming 24th itSMF National Service Management Conference, which will be held at the Adelaide Convention Center from March 15 to 16, 2023. Krishna’s involvement in the event further emphasizes the company’s dedication to the Australian market.

With the launch of its first ITSM data center in Australia, SolarWinds aims to continue providing simple, powerful, and secure observability and IT management software solutions to its customers throughout the APJ region.
