Antbuildz, Singapore’s largest B2B equipment rental platform that transforms the traditional way of renting equipment into just a few clicks, has secured $400k in seed funding for its international expansion.

The USD$400k round was led by a European based fund and participated by few investor which included Plug and Play, Farquhar Venture Capital, and other angel investor.

Antbuildz.com plans to use the fund to accelerate its product vertical expansion, kick-start its overseas presence in Malaysia and Indonesia in the next 2 years, and fund the development of the platform to support and digitalize the rental industry.

The start-up was the first to enable online equipment rental, and its popularity is growing rapidly. By looking at this, we think the potential is huge, not only in Southeast Asia but in the entire world. Said Kek Hean Hooi, CEO and Cofounder of Antbuildz.com.

Currently, the platform has over 170 vetted reputable rental partners on board that offer more than 100 types of equipmentcategories. The 2022 rental transaction value has grown by more than 350% compared to 2021.
