OPPO Singapore presses ‘play’ on #ClearlyTheBestYou Livestream Concert series featuring line-up of local singers

7 September, 2020, SINGAPORE – OPPO Singapore has once again demonstrated its commitment to helping Singaporeans express and uncover their creativity. Today, the leading global smart device provider announced the kickoff of their #ClearlyTheBestYou livestream series, following the recent launch of the #ClearlyTheBestYou campaign to mark the entrance of their latest OPPO Reno4 Pro into the local market.

Supporting creatives has been OPPO’s long-term commitment. Its global #Renovators competition that calls for art and design proposals from youths internationally, entered its second season in May this year.

Here in Singapore, the #BeAstorygrapher short film competition was introduced last year alongside the launch of the OPPO Reno2, encouraging aspiring young filmmakers to create a short film that represents their perspective of Singapore. Underlying this long-standing commitment is the brand’s signature OPPO Maker initiative, which has received positive feedback from Singaporeans, motivating OPPO to develop a new focus on young musicians for the “#ClearlyTheBestYou” campaign and livestream series.

Targeted at this group of individuals as well as Singaporeans at large, the livestream series will see a line-up of well-loved local singers serenading viewers from the comfort of their own homes.

Opening up the first session on 12 September is Mediacorp artiste JJ Neo (@jjneo), who produced and sang ‘Clearly The Best You’- the campaign theme song. The soundtrack was revealed in a music video unveiled at the Reno4 Pro launch and was shot entirely on the phone, showcasing the best of Singapore through the eyes of JJ Neo herself.

Following JJ Neo is Ben Hum (@bennhum) and husband-wife duo Yulun Chong and Rachel Toh (@namu_music), before powerhouse Charlie Lim (@wherewascharlie) wraps up the series in December.
