To kickstart the initiative, employees of LG have come together in a heartfelt video to express their gratitude to everyone who is doing their part to help Singapore fight the pandemic. The video is an integral composition of the initiative where it will be exhibited on the world’s largest video wall[1] comprising of 664 55” LG LED displays at Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre. The video will also be posted on LG’s Facebook and Instagram page.

Thank You to Our Medical Community

Since the pandemic reached Singapore in January 2020, healthcare workers have been at the forefront championing the nation’s containment efforts. Facing long gruelling hours and the discomfort of wearing personal protective equipment, they have put their health and well-being on the line to care for patients.

To provide assistance and help save time for the healthcare workers so they can focus on more important tasks at work, LG will be donating 15 units of the LG Styler to hospitals, allowing them to clean and sanitise their uniforms and personal items with ease.

Powered by LG’s TrueSteam™ technology, the LG Styler utilizes deep-penetrating steam consisting of 100% water with no chemical additives, to eliminate allergens and bacteria up to 99.9%[2]. Features like the Light Refresh cycle allows users to freshen up their clothing in just 20 minutes and the Pants Press function can create crisp crease-lines without the use of an iron, allowing users to prepare on a fresh outfit without a hassle. LG ThinQ™ smart capabilities are also incorporated in the LG Styler, giving users the freedom to remotely turn it on and off, select and start a cleaning cycle, check remaining cycle time and even get recommendations on the best cycle for a particular piece of clothing via its mobile application.

Thank You to Our Nurses and Teachers

LG also wants to thank nurses and teachers for their resilience, dedication and compassion amidst these trying times.

This Nurses’ Day and Teachers’ Day, LG will be giving away two sets of LG NanoCell 4K television, to a nurse and teacher via its Facebook contest. The most inspirational or heartwarming nomination will win the prize. LG NanoCell 4K television offers realistic picture quality and pure colours through NanoCell technology as they enjoy their favourite programme during a much-deserved break. In addition, as part of Singapore’s 55th birthday this year, 55 nominated nurses and teachers will each receive a care pack. For more information on the contests, please visit LG’s Facebook page.
