SINGAPORE, June 10, 2020 – LG Electronics (LG) demonstrates its advancement in air care solutions with the launch of the new PuriCare™ 360° Double and PuriCare™ Mini Air Purifiers in Singapore. It will be available through major retailers Best Denki, Courts and Harvey Norman, from June 22, 2020.

The LG PuriCare™ 360° Double Air Purifier features two towers, providing twice the capability to absorb pollutants and distribute filtered air throughout indoor spaces at one time. This helps to maintain healthy air quality for families with young children, professionals who work from home and those with pets. Beyond keeping the air clean at home or in the office, LG thoughtfully developed a lightweight portable air purifier, the LG PuriCare™ Mini, so users can enjoy fresh air even in enclosed spaces like in the car.

Shaped in its unique 360-degree cylindrical design, the LG PuriCare™ 360° Double Air Purifier’s Clean Booster function – a fan combined with an air purifier located at the top of the appliance – can be deployed to push out air up to 7.5 meters^[1]. The nozzle rises from the top and rotates up to 70 degrees between left and right to refresh the air in every corner of the room. Furthermore, the Baby Care feature directs gentle airflow at the base of the air purifier to create the ideal atmosphere for infants and toddlers.

Creating a healthy and comfortable indoor environment, the LG PuriCare™ 360° Double Air Purifier uses a six-step filtration process which eliminates six major types of pollutants^[2]. The first three steps remove allergens and filter over 99% of extremely fine dust^[3], beginning with large dust particles, fine dust particles, and finally allergens. The subsequent three steps remove harmful substances of smog (sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide) and living odours^[4] (such as ammonia, acetaldehyde and acetic acid). This six-step filtration process can help users and their loved ones breathe easier with cleaner air.

The LG PuriCare™ 360° Double Air Purifier employs an advanced PM1.0 Sensor to detect fine particles under 1 micrometre in diameter as well as eliminate unpleasant smells. The sensor performs real-time status checks to keep the air purifier operating at peak effectiveness according to the pollution level. The Smart Indicator also provides accurate air conditions and indoor smell readings on an easy-to-read Smart Display, enabling users to check air quality at just a glance, and easily monitor changes in air quality, by looking at the four coloured lights.

Users can also look forward to the newly introduced Romantic Rose colour for the LG PuriCare™ 360° Air Purifier in both Single and Double towers. The sweet, blush shade creates a dreamy ambience and brings an air of elegance to interior spaces.

The LG PuriCare™ 360° Air Purifiers can be controlled remotely via LG ThinQ App. This enables users to check indoor air quality from anywhere and activate the air purifier before returning home. The smart air purifier also provides status updates and alerts users whenever it is time to replace the filter.

The LG PuriCare™ 360° Double Air Purifier in Romantic Rose and White, and LG PuriCare™ 360° Single Air Purifier in Romantic Rose will be exclusively available online at S1,899, S$1,799 and S$1,199 respectively.

For a more portable option, there is the LG PuriCare™ Mini Air Purifier. The world’s first filter-type portable air purifier is designed for users on-the-go. With an innovate PM1.0 Sensor, the compact and cord-free LG PuriCare™ Mini Air Purifier helps deliver safe, clean air in the car, a baby’s nursery or even one’s office.

The wireless portable air purifier employs LG’s 4-Step Filtration System to cleanse the air of fine dust particles^[5]. With LG’s 4-Step Air Filtration System, LG PuriCare™ Mini Air Purifier can detect and remove 99 percent particulates as small as 0.3 micrometre^[6]. The first step involves the PM1.0 Sensor which quickly and accurately detects the quality of the air before the Dual Inverter Motor forcibly draws in the air at 5,000rpm in the second step.
