SINGAPORE – May 28, 2020 – Talend, a global leader in data integration and data integrity, has announced it has strengthened its partner network in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, as well as its team dedicated to lead joint projects within the cloud. To support the data strategies of its APAC customers, Talend is extending its relationships with key strategic partners, including Accenture, Deloitte, and Servian, through new ecosystem programs designed to support regional expansion and initiatives.
According to IDC, “As organizational digital transformation initiatives in Asia Pacific move from the proof of concept (POC) stage to enterprise-wide scale, the availability of the requisite digital talent and capabilities has become a key success criterion. As a result, enterprises gravitated to service partners who could help them drive enterprise-wide innovations at scale.” As digital transformation projects focus more and more on increasingly specific or complex technical and business needs, a data-driven growth strategy is paramount, and the role of partners becomes all the more critical.
“Organizations that are successfully enabling the next wave of productivity, personalized customer experiences and revenue growth through the application of data-driven insights, AI and intelligent automation have a strong data foundation at their core,” said Lee Anderson, Partner, Analytics & Cognitive at Deloitte. “In a modern data architecture, balancing speed and agility of data movement with trust and integrity in data is critical. Technologies, such as Talend Data Fabric, play a key role in helping organizations accelerate these outcomes.”
The Talend Channel Program is made up of strategically selected partners who are in line with the value proposition and all of the technical capabilities of Talend. Talend works closely with its partners to ensure that every customer project is implemented with best practices and a high level of technical expertise.
Talend is further investing in its partners by providing them with the competencies to drive increased customer success in a wide range of cloud integration, cloud migration, and cloud data warehouse projects. Talend has also developed specific programs, like the Cloud Accreditation Program, which recognizes partners for their skills and capabilities to implement cloud integration projects of any scope.
“Servian is Talend’s longest-standing partner in the region, and together we have gone from strength to strength, helping our customers navigate unique challenges and use data to drive better decisions,” said Kate Voisey-Youldon, Regional Partner NSW at Servian.
In conjunction with the strengthening of its partner program, the company announced the hiring of new channel and partner managers in APAC. Ritha Defitri, Paul Sheehan, Shigemi Tsukikawa, and Baqar Hasnain, who recently joined Talend as strategic channel managers to respectively cover Indonesia, ANZ, Japan, and ASEAN regions. Adrian (AJ) Lim and Helen Larcos who joined Talend in 2019 as strategic partner managers, were promoted to look after the company’s top strategic partners, including Deloitte and Accenture.
“Talend’s revenue growth in the Asia-Pacific region was over 59% in 2019, powered by demand for our cloud solutions. Our partners play a critical role in this success, as more and more of our customers benefit from the support of Talend’s ecosystem in their data-driven strategies,” said Stu Garrow, senior vice president of Sales and general manager APAC at Talend. “This approach to our partner strategy and the integral role they play in our customers’ digital transformation will continue in 2020 as we advance our presence throughout the region.”
