EZ-Link Pte Ltd has geared up to provide EZ-Link and Concession cardholders with an immediate way for loading up the value in their cards, with the new Express Top Up function in the EZ-Link App.

With Express Top Up, elderly parents or grandparents and children – the two main groups of Concession Cardholders – could have their cards topped up by their family members via the EZ-Link App in their NFC-enabled Android mobile devices.

In addition, the innovation function also allows for topping up of normal EZ-Link, making it the perfect solution for helping friends or family members who are unable to find a top-up machine when their cards run out of value.

Express Top Up is also a nifty function for motorists as it saves them from the trouble of having to look for a top-up machine in car parks in order to pay for Electronic Parking System charges.

Express Top Up is an absolutely free service offered by EZ-Link. Users can top up their EZ-Link using the Mastercard or Visa credit cards linked to their EZ-Link accounts or using DBS PayLah!.

Besides topping up, the function also allows for temporary viewing of the EZ-Link’s transaction history, without requiring the user to add the EZ-Link into his or her own account on the EZ-Link app.

Since its launch on 13 May 2019, the number of top-ups performed via Express Top Up has averaged about 15,000 transactions per month, out of which about half are for Concession Card top-ups.
