At the recently concluded Computex 2019, Razer has announced that it now has 25 partners on-boarded on its Chroma connected device programme. This means that more than 500 devices from these partners will have Razer’s signature RGB lighting features.
The 25 brands include:
Aerocool | Cougar | Phanteks |
AMD | Ducky | Silverstone |
Antec | EKWB | Teamgroup |
AOC | GEIL | Thermaltake |
Apacer | G-skill | ViewSonic |
ASROCK | Lian Li | Wooting |
Biostar | MSI | Zadak |
Bitspower | Patriot | Zotac |
Colorful |
Previously, Razer Chroma was only available on Razer products. Now, with the partnership, third-party PC parts like graphics cards, motherboards, desktop casings, and cooling fans could all be fitted with Razer Chroma.
The lighting effects can be controlled using the Razer Chroma Connect module, which is part of the Razer Synapse. Hence, the experience is similar.
With more hardware rigged with Razer Chroma, pairing them with top PC games such as Apex Legends, Overwatch and the latest Mortal Kombat 11, which is also Razer Chroma-integrated could level-up the way gamers immerse themselves into the virtual world.
