Honor X8

Leading smartphone e-brand, Honor had revealed the latest Honor 8X, which houses flagship technologies in an exquisitely designed body.

The Honor 8X features a 6.5-inch FullView display that’s covered with a 2.5D double texture aurora glass body, giving the smartphone an elegant and smooth look.

President of Honor, Mr George Zhao, said:

“With the newly unveiled Honor 8X, Honor is setting new benchmarks in hitting the balance between value, design, and performance. Honor 8X isn’t just a beautiful embodiment of minimalism; it’s a trailblazer which demonstrates that flagship features do not demand flagship prices. Honor 8X exceeds the demands of consumers who don’t want a comprise — on price, on performance, or an eye-catching appearance.”

For a SGD348 smartphone, the Honor 8X interestingly comes packed with pretty good specifications. It has 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage (expandable up to 400GB), a 16MP front-facing camera and a 20+2MP Dual Back AI Lens.

The Honor 8X also comes with a 3,750mAh battery that should see you through the whole day with a breeze.

Some of the key highlights of the Honor 8X include:

  • Large 6.5-inch screen with superb clarity: Honor 8X is equipped with a 6.5-inch Notch Full-View Display 2.0, and a 19.5:9 ratio in a 5.5-inch long and 7.8 mm thick body. It is closer to the 21:9 ratio used by cinemas and allows users to enjoy striking views on a sleek smartphone.
  • 91% screen-to-body ratio in a slim body: The screen-to-body ratio is key to smartphone design. Honor uses advanced chip-on-film (COF) technology and patented antenna design to narrow the width of the bottom border to 4.25mm and achieve 91% screen-to-body ratio which beats most flagship smartphones.
  • Minimalist design concept with a mind for aesthetics: Honor 8X uses a metal middle frame and adopts a 2.5D double texture aurora glass body with a grating effect, providing an elegant and smooth look and feel. The parallel gradation design is constructed from 15 layers and generates a different reflection from different angles. With blue, black, and red to choose from, the user can express their style and personality.
  • Protection for eyes: There is a growing concern about the blue light exposure our eyes receive from screens on electronic devices. Honor 8X adopts a new generation of Eye Comfort mode certified by TüV Rheinland that can reduce the blue light radiation emitted by the screen and prevent eye fatigue. It also features sunlight and night display technology, which lets users see the screen clearly in the sunlight and makes reading before going to sleep more comfortable.

The Honor 8X is now available through authorised resellers and official online store at Lazada for SGD348. At launch, the Honor 8X will be available in Black and Blue, with the Red colour available at a later date.

The Honor will also be running a special promotion on Lazada in conjunction with the Honor 8X launch. Customers who purchase the Honor 8X will be entitled to a free 128GB microSD card (worth $69), making the Honor 8X a crazy upgrade to 256GB storage, redeemable on a while stock last basis.
