MSc in Data Science for Business Amity Global Institute Singapore

Amity Global Institute Singapore is bringing in five undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses, including MSc in Data Science for Business, offered by the University of Stirling to Singapore.

The lion city is the first in Asia to launch the MSc in Data Science for Business, which should allow students who already have a Bachelor in Data Science to further their studies.

Chancellor of Amity Global Institute, Dr Aseem Chauhan,  said:

“It is with great honour that we are working with University of Stirling to deliver this course (MSc in Data Science for Business), providing a learning platform for young people in Singapore to develop one of the most sought-after skills for employment in this digital age.”

The other courses that will be available for prospective students to sign up include:

  • BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance;
  • Master of Business Administration;
  • BSc Management; and
  • MSc Banking and Finance.

Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Stirling, Professor Gerry McCormac, said:

“Our agreement with Amity Global Institute will allow students in Singapore to enrol on a range of high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate-level Stirling degree courses. These courses are designed to equip our students with the knowledge and skills to thrive as global citizens and to make a difference in the world.”

The MSc Banking and Finance and MSc in Data Science for Business will start their enrolment in February 2019, while the other courses have already begun their enrolment process.
