ConnecTechAsia is a mega technology event that comprises CommunicAsia, BroadcastAsia, and the new NXTAsia that is expected to draw more than 35,000 attendees. The event, held at the Marina Bay Sands and Suntec Singapore from 26 June to 28 June, serves to connect businesses with the latest technology advancement in info-communications, broadcasts, and emerging technologies.
Event Director, UBM Singapore, and organiser of ConnecTechAsia, Victor Wong said:

The three-day technology event and exhibition will see more than 900 product launches, 1,800 exhibitors from 52 countries/regions and 40 group pavilions. These exhibitors include SingTel, Canon, Fujifilm, Sony, Huawei, ST Engineering, Sennheiser, Audio-Technica, and etc.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of ConnecTechAsia, Minister for Communications and Information, Mr S Iswaran said:
“ConnecTechAsia provides a holistic ecosystem that spans the entire spectrum of communication, broadcast, and enterprise technology and services, reflecting the pulse of Singapore and the region. Companies that wish to adapt and transform themselves so as to take advantage of the ASEAN digital economy will find the ConnecTechAsia umbrella event the ideal place to embark on their journeys.”
ConnecTechAsia is also holding a spread of plenary sessions with presentations by more than 220 thought leaders, including industry heavyweights like Alibaba Cloud International, Google Cloud, and Ne, flix, to share about the current trends and business strategies that could help companies grow and reshape their approach in the networking communications and broadcast media sector.
NXTAsia is a newly added exhibition dedicated to showcase emerging technologies like the on-trend Artificial Intelligence (AI), BlockChain, Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR). Also on display are other Internet of Things (IoT) that could reshape the ever-changing technology landscape for both consumers and businesses.
Spanning across Basement 2 of Marina Bay Sands, delegates/visitors will have a first-hand view and tryouts of the new techs like the PlayGround, an interactive zone for visitors looking to experience the future of Smart Cities, test-drive the Hyundai IONIQ Electric car and OTSAW’s OR-3 outdoor autonomous security robot.
CommunicAsia and BroadcastAsia
The CommunicAsia and BroadcastAsia floors will both see info-communications technology enablers like Huawei presenting its innovative solutions on 5G, Network and IT, and broadcasting innovators featuring disruptive solutions for traditional broadcasters like Ultra High-Definition content, Live Production, Over-the-TOP (OOT) platforms and latest cinematography and film production equipment.
