B&O PLAY has added a new portable speaker to its range of audio accessories called Beoplay P6.
Designed by award-winning Cecilie Manz, the new member of B&O’s family of portable speakers is capable of dispersing a 360-degree sound in any room, giving listeners an all-rounded audio experience.
With its Scandinavian design, the Beoplay P6 can easily find itself at home without feeling out of place.
Unlike other brands of portable speakers, the Beoplay P6 is made out of anodised, and pearl blasted aluminium shell, accompanied by a double layered premium leather strap. It is also splash and dust resistant, which will allow users to bring its class to all types of social settings.
Cecilie Manz, the Designer of the Year Awardee for Maison&Objet’s 2018 edition, said:
“With Beoplay P6, we redefined the archetype of working with aluminium by pushing the physical limits of the material, highlighting the three-dimensional shells and its hole pattern as much as possible. This detail gives a distinctive character, such that the sound is spread evenly and shared with people around you in all directions. The shape caters to the two main ways Beoplay P6 can be used – standing in that special spot in your home, and portability when bringing it with you.”
The Beoplay P6 has a play time of up to 16 hours. The speaker is finely tuned by B&O’s sound engineers to deliver the best audio quality to the users, with full bandwidth and at an impressive volume level relative to its size.
According to B&O, projecting the audio experience in a 360-degree format is three amplifier channels that deliver as much as 1 x 36W Class D for a woofer, 2 x 3W Class D for full tones for a total of 215W peak power.
Beoplay 6 is now available in Black and Natural. The package comes with a USB-C charging cable in the box and retails at SGD629.
