LG Electronics (LG) will be introducing two new gaming monitors at this year’s IT Show. To deliver the smoothest gaming experience to an increasing gamer consumer base, LG’s newest 32GK850G and 27GK750F monitors offer action enthusiasts optimised gameplay for a winning edge in competitive gaming. The new gaming monitors will retail at S$1,399 and S$899 respectively.

Implementing the latest technological breakthroughs, the LG 32GK850G is the ideal display for gaming enthusiasts who want seamless, quick motion gameplay on large screens with high picture quality. It offers high refresh rates of 144Hz, with an overclock option to increase it to 165Hz1. Complementing its fast refresh rate, the 32GK850G also delivers incredibly fluid graphics motion by using its NVIDIA G-SyncTM graphic processing technology to eliminate stuttering and screen tearing. This monitor will handily process all game genres without any afterimages while delivering rapid and fluid motion at a maximum brightness of 350-nits on its QHD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels resolution) screen.

The LG 32GK850G monitor also enhances the gaming experience through heightened immersion and ambience. For the first time, LG included a built-in sphere lighting that uses LEDs behind the monitor to create a soft ambient light for a more immersive gaming experience. Gamers can choose from 6 different colour settings and adjust it with a wheel key to create their ideal gaming atmosphere. The 32GK850G also uses a 3-side borderless design that showcases slim bezels on the sides and top, making it ideal for a multi-monitor setup in the home or office.

For an incredibly smooth gameplay, the LG 27GK750F delivers the highest refresh rate and response time. With 240Hz refresh rate to increase the player’s chances of winning, the 27GK750F also features 1ms Motion Blur Reduction for fluid gaming motion without creating doubled frames, and AMD FreeSync™ technology to reduce frame loss even at the highest visual settings2.

Both the LG 32GK850G and 27GK750F gaming monitors offer other unique features such as Black Stabilizer, which delivers clearer contrast to give gamers maximum visibility at all times, and Dynamic Action Sync which minimizes input lag for players to react faster to the action. Gamers can take further advantage of these features with the Gaming GUI button under the display. It offers multiple preset modes tailored for specific game genres and includes options such as FPS Mode (first-person shooters), RTS Mode (real-time strategy), and even Reader Mode.

Finally, both monitors also feature the One-Click Stand for enhanced ergonomics, offering easy-access height, swivel and pivot angle adjustments that can accommodate gamers who seek better gaming comfort when playing for long hours.

“With a growing demand for newer and better gaming solutions, we have placed our efforts in delivering a heightened gameplay experience,” said Hosik Kim, Product Director, LG Home Entertainment. “With the LG 32GK850G and 27GK750F gaming monitors, we are confident that gamers will enjoy the new features such as a fast refresh rate and sphere lighting for a differentiated gaming experience.”
