Social media management app company, Hootsuite, has announced that it now has the scheduling and publishing options on Instagram. The added features are a welcoming move as the popularity of Instagram continues to grow year after year, and it is now the second most popular social media platform behind Facebook.
Ryan Holmes, CEO of Hootsuite said:
Scheduling and publishing of Instagram content have been the number one request for our 16 million customers. Now, they can manage large volumes of content, multiple team members, and multiple Instagram accounts with ease and security. Hootsuite is excited to launch our new integration with Instagram to help our customers achieve their business goals and succeed with social networking.
According to Hootsuite, more than two million photos and videos are shared every month through Hootsuite, which could be the primary reason for the latest update. The new features “will now be able to schedule and post photo content directly through their Hootsuite dashboard. Social media managers of brands can now “schedule and publish content across all supported social networks through a single, secured and integrated workflow experience.”
