The Logitech MX ERGO is one of the mice introduced by the consumer tech giant this year and what sets it apart from the others, besides being a non-gaming mouse, is the inclusion of a wireless trackball.
Anatoliy Polyanker, global portfolio and brand director at Logitech said:
We are so excited by this new trackball. It is back, better than ever and the idea for this trackball innovation was inspired by our users, who invented creative ways to achieve their desired level of comfort, sometimes adding additional wedges under their trackball for elevated angles. The MX ERGO is our first adjustable trackball that delivers on the need for elevated comfort in a beautiful design.”
Comfort
The MX ERGO sports an adjustable hinge and precision-tracking with multi-device connectivity. According to Logitech, the mouse is ergonomically designed to reduce muscular strain by 20% as compared to using a regular mouse. The adjustable hinge allows users to increase the angle from 0 – 20 degrees, thus improving wrist posture and pronation. With consumers’ comfort in mind, Logitech had the MX ERGO sculpted for full palm and finger support. It also has a soft rubber at the top, which provides users with a comfortable grip, reducing fatigue.
Flow and Easy-Switch enabled
The MX ERGO also comes with the latest tracking technology, with the ability to instantly change cursor speed and accuracy just by pressing a button. The mouse is enabled with both Logitech Flow and a two-channel Logitech Easy-Switch, which allows users to switch the connectivity of the mouse between two computers. With this function, you can easily copy and paste content between the computers almost instantly.
It has a rechargeable battery, which can last up to 4 months on a full charge. What’s also interesting about the battery is that with just a minute of charging, it can give you a day’s worth of juice.
Pricing and Availability
The Logitech MX ERGO is priced at $149.00 and expected to be available at Logitech.com and select retail stores in Singapore.
We will be reviewing the Logitech MX ERGO soon so stay tuned for the full review.
