  • The iMac M6 starts at S$2,099 for the 10-core model and S$2,399 for the 12-core model.

iMac M6 Singapore pricing and availability

The 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU model costs S$2,099, or S$2,029 with education savings. The 12-core CPU and 12-core GPU model starts at S$2,399, or S$2,259 for education buyers. Singapore is one of 35 countries and regions where pre-orders open on apple.com and in the Apple Store app.

From 6 November, the iMac will also be sold in Apple Store locations and through Apple Authorised Resellers. Customers can trade in an existing computer for credit toward the new machine.

M6 chip lifts on-device AI performance

The M6 has up to a 12-core CPU and up to a 12-core GPU, two more cores each than before. The GPU now carries Neural Accelerators in every core, and Apple says graphics run up to 2x faster than on M4. A Dual 16-core Neural Engine and memory bandwidth of up to 170GB/s are aimed at running large language models locally.

Apple’s own figures put on-device AI prompt processing in LM Studio at up to 12x faster than the M1 iMac and up to 5x faster than M4. Microsoft Excel runs up to 2.5x faster than on M1 and up to 1.5x faster than on M4. Apple says it tested against an M4 iMac with 32GB of memory and a 2TB SSD, and ran its competitive tests in October 2026.

For Intel-based iMac owners, the company claims up to 18x faster performance.

Siri AI and macOS 27 arrive with the iMac

The iMac ships with macOS 27, which introduces Siri AI. Apple describes it as a more conversational version of Siri that can search across messages, emails and photos and act across apps. It is built into Spotlight, and a dedicated keyboard shortcut lets users ask about anything on screen.

The rollout has limits. Siri AI is in beta from macOS 27.2 and supports English, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish. It is unavailable in the EU on iOS, iPadOS and watchOS. Server-side features such as Siri AI and intelligent photo editing carry daily usage limits, and Apple says expanded access will cost a fee in future.

Safari also gets new tools that sort tabs into topics and flag price drops or restocks. Users can build Shortcuts automations by describing them in plain language.

Faster connectivity on the 12-core model

All models get Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and SSD read and write speeds up to 2x faster. The 12-core model adds optional 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet and four Thunderbolt 4 ports, and can drive two external 6K displays.

The 24-inch 4.5K Retina display reaches 500 nits of brightness, and the iMac has a 12MP Center Stage camera. It comes in seven colours: blue, green, pink, yellow, purple, orange and silver.
