Keeper Security has announced native integrations with vulnerability management vendor Tenable, aimed at closing the gap between identifying cloud security risks and remediating them, while centralising credential management for vulnerability scans.
The integrations let cloud security teams move from detection to remediation in a single workflow, without manual tickets or switching between tools. Teams can now act on Tenable’s findings to rotate compromised credentials, enforce Just-In-Time (JIT) access and remove standing privileges, all without leaving the Keeper platform.
Closing the gap between detection and remediation
Tenable provides visibility into exposed identities, risky access paths and misconfigurations across cloud environments, but the gap between discovering such findings and acting on them has remained a persistent challenge for security teams managing the process manually across multiple tools. Keeper’s integration sends cloud findings directly into its remediation engine, and once complete, automatically notifies Tenable and marks the finding resolved with no manual follow-up.
“Organisations can’t remediate findings if they aren’t properly equipped to take action immediately,” said Darren Guccione, CEO and co-founder of Keeper Security. “As AI-powered threats increase the onslaught of cyberattacks and decrease the window of time in which cyber defenders can take action, this integration enables cloud security teams to implement fixes in seconds instead of weeks.”
Keeping credentials out of scan policies
A second integration addresses how Tenable authenticates into systems during vulnerability scans. Rather than storing passwords and SSH keys directly in Tenable scan policies, organisations can store those credentials in Keeper instead; Tenable retrieves them securely at scan time for credentialed scanning of SSH, Windows and database targets, with credentials rotating automatically in Keeper.
“By connecting Tenable’s cloud detection directly to Keeper’s zero-trust remediation engine, we’ve built a closed-loop workflow that operates entirely within the customer’s perimeter,” said Craig Lurey, CTO and co-founder of Keeper Security.
Both integrations are available now to Keeper customers with active KeeperPAM licences.
