GovWare, the anchor trade platform of Singapore International Cyber Week (SICW), has announced the theme and programme highlights for its 2026 conference and exhibition, focusing on how cybersecurity must adapt as AI-driven systems take on greater autonomy.

Held from 13 to 15 October at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, GovWare 2026 is expected to draw more than 15,000 attendees from over 90 countries, alongside 300-plus speakers and more than 300 exhibitors from government, industry and the cybersecurity community. The event is supported by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA).

“Anchored in Unchanging Principles: Cyber at Agentic Velocity”

This year’s theme reflects a shift from AI systems that generate answers to agents capable of making decisions and taking action, raising questions about delegated authority, human judgement and accountability as the time between signal, decision and consequence compresses.

“Cybersecurity took several decades to evolve from a specialist technology concern into a whole-of-economy responsibility. AI is now driving another transformation, only at far greater speed,” said Richard Ireland, chief executive of GovWare. “As systems become capable of making decisions and taking action with greater autonomy, no organisation can navigate the implications alone.”

More than 300 speakers, closed-door sector forums

Speakers confirmed for the three-day programme include Jonathan Zanger, chief technology officer at Check Point Software Technologies; Bartley Richardson, chief AI and autonomous systems officer at CrowdStrike; Snehal Antani, co-founder and chief executive of Horizon3.ai; David Koh, deputy chairman of Ensign InfoSecurity; Hoo Chuan Wei, chief information security officer at StarHub; and Amir Ben-Efraim, co-founder and executive chairman of Menlo Security.

The programme will include closed-door Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) forums for financial services and healthcare, covering AI governance, post-quantum readiness, technology concentration risk and operational resilience, including live incident scenarios for each sector.

Country pavilions and local cybersecurity showcase

The exhibition floor will feature country pavilions from the Czech Republic, Finland, France and, for the first time, Italy. A showcase jointly presented by the CyberSG Research & Development Programme Office and CyberSG Talent, Innovation and Growth Collaboration Centre will bring together ten cybersecurity innovators, including StrongKeep, AI Guardian and AgentSure, spanning AI security, agentic AI accountability and post-quantum readiness.

Registration for GovWare 2026 is now open.
