Salesforce and Anthropic on Thursday announced Claudeforce, an expanded strategic partnership that brings Claude’s reasoning capabilities together with Salesforce’s enterprise data, workflows and governance to power agentic AI experiences across both platforms.

The partnership launches with Salesforce in Claude, a plugin with 37 pre-built sales skills that let sellers and agents reason over live revenue context, automate pipeline updates and take governed action directly within Claude. Additional pre-built skills are expected to roll out later this year.

Bringing reasoning and enterprise data together

Salesforce in Claude is powered by AIforce, Salesforce’s enterprise harness that connects business data and workflows to any AI agent through MCP servers, APIs and CLI tools without requiring custom integrations. An admin connects the plugin once, with authentication and permissions managed centrally so every seller on a team gets access without per-user setup.

The partnership spans three areas:

“We’re bringing together the world’s number one AI and number one CRM… By fusing Claude’s extraordinary reasoning with the trusted data, workflows, and governance every enterprise runs on, we’re delivering a dynamic interface that thinks, reasons, and acts,” said Marc Benioff, Chair and CEO of Salesforce.

“Salesforce in Claude brings this same frontier intelligence into the systems where much of the world’s commercial activity happens… companies can point Claude at the customer information and business context they’ve been building in Salesforce for decades,” said Dario Amodei, CEO and co-founder of Anthropic.

A partnership built on mutual adoption

Salesforce and Anthropic are also customers of one another under the deal. Salesforce is Anthropic’s preferred CRM, while Claude is the default model for Slack AI, Slackbot and Salesforce in Claude, and the first LLM provider fully integrated within the Salesforce Trust Boundary. Salesforce said Slackbot has already driven 8.1 million hours of annualised productivity gains internally, more than doubling quarter-over-quarter.

Salesforce in Claude is available to select pilot customers now, with a broader open beta expected in September 2026.
