UiPath has introduced UiPath Maestro Flow, a developer-first orchestration canvas that lets builders use their coding agent of choice to design, run, observe and govern complete business processes as a single artifact, from prototype straight to production.
The tool integrates with coding agents developers already use, including Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and Codex, letting them build directly from VS Code, UiPath Studio or their preferred environment.
Closing the prototype-to-production gap
UiPath said coding agents have made it easy to build individual AI agents, but without an orchestration layer, process logic fragments, governance breaks down, and prototypes stall before they ship. Maestro Flow runs on the same enterprise-grade Maestro orchestration engine that UiPath customers already use, coordinating AI agents, robots, APIs, documents and people within one governed flow.
“Enterprises don’t have an agent problem; they have an orchestration problem. With coding agents, it’s never been easier to build an agent. But running a real business process—spanning agents, robots, systems, and people—and being able to prove what happened at every step—needs an orchestration layer that ties these together in a real business environment,” said Raghu Malpani, Chief Product and Technology Officer, UiPath.
Lite option for smaller workloads
Key features include:
- A code-first build experience directly on an enterprise-grade orchestration engine, so the prototype ships without rebuilding or re-platforming
- Support for coding agents including Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and Codex
- Execution, observability and governance layered onto processes coordinating agents, robots, APIs, documents and people
For processes that do not require extensive management, UiPath is also offering UiPath Maestro Lite, a lightweight option designed to match operational depth with the cost and criticality of the work. Developers can get started with Maestro Flow via the “Try Now” button on UiPath’s product page.
