Ping Identity has been named the 2026 Google Cloud Security Partner of the Year for Identity and Access Management, recognising the company’s work in extending enterprise identity controls into AI-driven environments.
The award was announced at Google Cloud Next ’26 this week. It covers Ping Identity’s work with joint customers across Google Cloud, including deployments spanning Google Workspace, Chrome Enterprise, and the Google Cloud Marketplace. Ping Identity is the only identity provider delivering its platform through the Google Cloud Marketplace, enabling organisations to govern both human and AI agent activity in real time.
Identity-first security as AI agents enter production
The award reflects a growing industry shift toward identity as the control plane for AI workloads. As AI agents increasingly operate with delegated authority, organisations face the challenge of governing not just who has access, but what actions those agents can take in real time.
Loren Russon, VP of Product and Technology at Ping Identity, said the company’s runtime identity capabilities are designed specifically for this environment.
“As AI agents move into production, the challenge is not just managing access, but also controlling execution. By combining Ping’s runtime identity capabilities with Google Cloud’s scale, we’re helping organizations reduce risk, safely delegate authority, and confidently adopt AI in their most sensitive environments.”
Strong marketplace growth across EMEA and APJ
In 2025, Ping Identity achieved 66% year-on-year growth in Google Cloud Marketplace total contract value, alongside a threefold increase in global Marketplace sales across EMEA and APJ. The company also received two 2025 Google Cloud Partner All-Star Awards, including recognition for an Identity for AI solution that controls AI activity in real time.
Kevin Ichhpurani, President of Global Partner Ecosystem and Channels at Google Cloud, said the award honours partners that deliver measurable customer value within the Google Cloud ecosystem.
Ping Identity’s platform supports passwordless access, device and browser trust, and identity-first controls across enterprise workloads. The company counts financial services, healthcare, and sports media among its target verticals.
