Check Point Software Technologies and MyRepublic Business have announced a strategic partnership to launch MR Email Guard as a Service, bringing enterprise-grade email security to Singapore’s small and medium enterprises (SMEs) via a managed, plug-and-play deployment.

Targeting a Growing Threat

The service launch comes against a backdrop of escalating cyber threats. According to the Singapore Cyber Landscape 2024/2025 report, phishing attacks in Singapore surged 49% in 2024, with 12% of those cases using AI-generated content to evade traditional filters. The Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) has also been pushing for enhanced baseline cyber hygiene under its Cyber Essentials (2025) framework.

Email remains the most exploited attack vector for social engineering, with a single Business Email Compromise (BEC) incident potentially costing local firms millions in damages. MR Email Guard as a Service is designed to sit in front of existing cloud email platforms — Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace — blocking sophisticated identity spoofing and malicious attachments in real time before they reach the inbox.

Bridging the SME Security Gap

Singapore’s SMEs frequently face three key hurdles when it comes to cybersecurity: a shortage of specialist manpower, technical complexity, and the high cost of enterprise-grade tools. The joint solution addresses these barriers through a fully managed service model that eliminates the need for an in-house security team.

“Email remains the primary entry point for cyberattacks. Our partnership with MyRepublic ensures SMEs in Singapore have access to the same prevention-first, AI-powered security that protects the world’s largest enterprises and smaller organisations.” — Rebecca Law, Country Manager, Singapore, Check Point Software Technologies

“Check Point is a leader in email security, blocking over 99.8% of threats. With this collaboration, we are democratising world-class protection, ensuring Singapore’s SMEs can defend themselves against AI-driven threats without the enterprise-level price tag.” — Lawrence Chan, Managing Director and Chief AI Officer, MyRepublic

Availability

MR Email Guard as a Service is available from 2 April 2026 for all Singapore-based SMEs. The package includes full onboarding, setup, configuration, weekly and monthly reporting, a security assessment, and ongoing management by MyRepublic’s cybersecurity experts.
